% for non-inventory item: Provides an autosuggestion for cost for non-inventory items
Default Item Number Type: Default for this in inventory management after hitting add.
Automatically Generate Selling Price from Cost Markup: If checked, in inventory the Price will default to Cost marked up by the percent indicated here.
Automatically Generate New Item Cost From Vendor Discount off Retail: When checked, the cost will default to retail price discounted by the vendor discount percentage for vendor 1.
Inventory Quick Search: Standard will find just the item whose number you have entered. Find Matching Item Names will find that item and all other items with an exactly matching item name.
Average Cost: Separately for new and used, if these are enabled the system will automatically adjust the cost as items are traded in or ordered through POs or Instant POs.
Limit Access to Tradein/Sales Report: This forces the admin login to be used to access these reports.
Popup Item Notes: When an item is placed on an invoice, if it has item notes, they will appear in a popup window if this is enabled. This can be used to remind employees of things that need to be checked with a certain item.
Automatic Item Number Length: Should be left at 12 unless the user does not want to enter the checkdigit for some reason.
Audit Quantity Changes: If this is turned on, whenever a stock level is changed in inventory, then the system will pop up and ask for a reason for doing so. This will get recorded in a report for your review.
Use Price Tables: Must be checked to use the Price Tables feature.
Require Login to enter Inventory Screen: Forces entering the username and password to get into inventory.
Serial Number on Purchase Orders: Upon receiving an item with serial numbers, if this option is set you will have to scan each serial number.
Add Prefix to Barcode for Used/New Items: When printing a barcode, the prefix set will be printed on the barcode, allowing the system to automatically recognize if it is new or used.
Sell preorder items past street date: Ignore the preorder flag if an item is past the streetdate when this is checked.
