Adding Departments

Before setting departments on inventory items, you will need to add them through department maintenance.


To get to department maintenance, go to view -> departments from the invoice screen.

To add a department, hit add and fill in your ID and description.  If you want this department to show on the touch screen, check display on touch screen.

To change the department description, modify it, then hit update.

To delete a department, hit the delete button.  You can only delete a department that currently has no items in it.
